Zhang Jike is the defending champion in the upcoming World Championships and because of that he receives a big share of attention. As of now, the Chinese Team has already started their adaptation in Suzhou. According to the Grand Slam champion, he has already adapted well to the environment after four days of training.
Sina Sports. Zhang Jike and the rest of the Chinese Team is now in their final stage of preparations for the World Championships. He said everything is going well.
“This year is the last year before the Olympic Games in Rio so I think that the significance of winning the gold this time is much higher. Everyone is in the sprint for the Olympics so the level of competition will be stronger.” [[Liu Guoliang]] started.
Speaking about the Olympic Games, of course, the defending Olympic champion [[Zhang Jike]] is also aspiring to be in Rio. Because of that he is giving his efforts now to adopt with the competition environment.
“A competition is a competition. Players need to adapt to different competition environment. This stadium is very comfortable and its almost the same size like in the London Olympics. After four days of adaptation, I basically mastered the atmosphere.” Zhang Jike said.
As for the 2011 World Champion, [[Ding Ning]], she said that she will go all out in the competition just like what she did in Rotterdam. However, nothing is definite yet. “The result is unknown. This is the charm of sports.” Ding Ning said.
