A table tennis spectacle took place in a Chinese city last weekend when world-class table tennis players gathered for a one-day event. Although some expected personalities were not able to arrive in the event, it was still very much welcomed by the locals. Aside from the Chinese players, foreigners like Jorgen Persson, Vladimir Samsonov and Ryu Seungmin were present as well.
PingPang World. Last weekend, world-class table tennis personalities gathered around in Changshu for the World Champions Masters.
Last March 18, the Jiangsu Sports Bureau announced the details about the 2015 World Champions Masters. It said that the Grand Slam champions, [[Jan-Ove Waldner]], [[Liu Guoliang]], [[Kong Linghui]], and [[Zhang Jike]] will be gathering for the competition.
Last April 19, the event took place in Changshu and was well attended by table tennis personalities from around the world. [[Jorgen Persson]], [[Vladimir Samsonov]], and [[Ryu Seungmin]] were present in the event.
As for the Chinese Team, Liu Guoliang, Kong Linghui, Zhang Jike, [[Xu Xin]], [[Ding Ning]], [[Zhu Yuling]], [[Ma Lin]], [[Wang Hao]], and [[Chen Qi]] were seen in the venue as well.
Unfortunately, there was no detail as to the presence of Jan Ove Waldner.
Despite that, it was reported that the local people of Changshu were very enthusiastic for the event that the tickets were sold out.
