The evangelicals and other white identity demographics fear the ‘collapse of society, as they know it’, the white majoritarian world order. The façade is crumbling, not society, so they rally around strongman Trump and his nativist cum fascist authoritarianism. Meanwhile the plutocrats are fuming.
