I have embedded Fundamine – Medium-style sidenotes – into stoweboyd.com, and turned off Disqus. It’s an experiment, but aside from ‘losing’ the old comments I don’t see a great reason to go back.
Disqus has tried hard to become a parallel community, but never really offered compelling features.
I would rather that Twitter would create a commenting solution along the lines of Fundamine, but they seem clueless.
