The European Council has called on the European Commission to present initiatives before the end of the year on the governance of EU climate and energy policies after 2020.According to WWF, E3G and ClientEarth, this is a unique opportunity to improve the current policy framework, provided that the EU institutions are ambitious enough to take up the challenge.
