Avila - Tomorrow, Thursday 26 March, all the Carmelite communities around the world will experience a special day of prayer for peace, in the way they consider most appropriate and adapted to their situation, in the context of the fifth centenary of the birth of Saint Teresa of Jesus.
"It will not be a day where we can hide, leaving the solution of the problems of the war to the rulers who have responsibility", said Father Emilio José Martínez, Vicar General of the Discalced Carmelites
One can participate in the prayer for peace through social networks with the hashtag #Prayday. All activities organized in the different Carmelites centers in the world can be followed through the web site www.stj500.com.
