If you follow either the tech or auto industry then you've likely heard the rumors that Apple is looking at developing its own line of cars of the all-electric variety. Some in the Bay Area have even reported seeing “Apple test cars” driving around the various freeways that surround the area. There are also reports that Apple has hundreds of people dedicated to working on an auto project off-campus.
