A teenage couple from on the run from the law have been dubbed a 'modern-day Bonnie and Clyde', after a two-week, multi-state crime spree, which has involved auto theft, cashing stolen cheques and destruction of property.
The pair, 18-year-old Dalton Hayes and 13-year-old Cheyenne Phillips, disappeared on Jan. 3. On the same day, Hayes changed his Facebook status to 'Engaged'. Police believe the pair may have been involved in a series of burglaries in their area before they fled their Kentucky town in a stolen pick-up truck.
